All you need to have is a rooted Samsung Vibrant with CM7/MIUI OR any other custom ROM
The ROM is stable and super fast as one can see from the Quadrant Score . The ROM has all the Google Apps including Google Earth Addon.

Requirements
- ICS Passion ROM v8 link
- Gingerbread Bootloader link
HOW TO : INSTALL GINGERBREAD BOOTLOADER
- If you are currently having Froyo ROM please flash CM7 from here
If on a Gingerbread already follow the steps to get Gingerbread Bootloader
Follow the following steps very care fully I would not be responsible for any damage to your device
- Turn OFF device, press Upper Volume Key + Power Button
- You shall enter download mode on your phone
- Launch ODIN on computer and plugin device
- Once ODIN recognizes your device, Remove all ticks from ODIN, except PDA
- Select PDA and browse for the downloaded ” .TAR” pakache you downloaded (Gingerbread Bootloader)
- Click Flash
- If ODIN displays message “PASS”, long press POWER for 10 seconds and it will reboot, else repeat the Flash again by selecting the TAR file and deselecting all ticks apart from PDA
Please note, you do not need to use the PIT file since it will be used automatically from the native partition on the phone.
HOW TO : INSTALL ICE Cream Sandwich/ ICS Passion on Vibrant
If already having CM7/MIUI/ ICS start form the steps below
- Copy ICS ROM (Downloaded above) to Root of memory card
- Reboot to Recovery (Turn Off, Lower Volume Key + Power Button)
- Goto MOUNTS and STORAGE then FORMAT SYSTEM
- Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
- Flash the ROM (You may need to flash ROM twice if stuck bootloop due to CWM mismatch, remove battery, again goto recovery & flash ROM )
- Reboot twice, you shall see the new ICS HOMESCREEN
If not coming from CM7/MIUI
- Copy ICS ROM (Downloaded above) to Root of memory card
- Reboot to Recovery (Turn Off, Lower Volume Key + Power Button)
- Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
- Goto MOUNTS and STORAGE then FORMAT SYSTEM
- Flash the ROM (You may need to flash ROM twice if stuck bootloop due to CWM mismatch, remove battery Vol Down + Home + Long press power till recovery shows up & flash ROM again )
- Reboot twice, you shall see the new ICS HOMESCREEN
